This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your personal information, specifically including any data accessed from your Google account when you connect our service with Gmail. We are committed to transparency and ensuring that your Google data is used only to provide our core unsubscribe services.

InboxZero integrates with Google APIs to identify and process subscription-related emails in your Gmail account. The following OAuth scopes are requested and are used solely for the purpose of providing our unsubscribe service:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly - Read email metadata to identify subscription emails and locate unsubscribe links.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send - Send unsubscribe emails on your behalf to automatically unsubscribe from email listings.

These permissions are strictly limited to what is necessary for the unsubscribe functionality and are never used for marketing, advertising, or any unrelated purpose.

We take the protection of sensitive Google user data seriously and follow strict security practices to ensure your information remains safe and private. All data is handled using industry-standard security protocols, with AES-256 encryption applied both during transmission and while stored.

• Encryption in Transit: All data exchanged between our application and Google's servers is transmitted over secure, encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
• Encryption at Rest: Any sensitive data that must be stored is encrypted using AES-256 while at rest, ensuring that it cannot be read by unauthorized parties.
• Limited Access: Access to sensitive information is restricted and only available to systems and processes required to provide the unsubscribe functionality.
• Strict Scope Usage: We only request the exact OAuth scopes required for core unsubscribe features and never use your data for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes.

InboxZero does not sell or rent your data. We only share data under the following limited circumstances:

• Google APIs: Data accessed from Gmail is only shared with Google’s systems to perform unsubscribe actions. This data is never shared with external third parties.
• Payment Processing: When you make a purchase, PayPal securely handles your payment details. We do not store full credit card information.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable laws or government requests.

We keep Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide our unsubscribe service. Once data is no longer needed, it is automatically deleted or anonymized. You may also request immediate deletion of your data at any time.

• Data Retention: Subscription information is retained while the user has an active account to identify which listings the user are still subscribed to. It is also used to provide statistics to users on how many unsubscriptions have been performed by InboxZero.
• Immediate Deletion: You can request permanent deletion of your data by emailing support@vectorsoftwaresolutions.com. Your data will be fully deleted from our systems within 30 days of your request.
